A competition that was first organized in 1972 by Guinness Cameroon has its 26th edition come Saturday 27th February 2021 with over 500 athletes from 10 Countries participating in junior, senior and veteran categories.  This year edition that will take place within the context of COVID-19 will see certain measures like the different departure points for the various categories have been programed by the organizng committee to curb the risk of the disease.     This year's race of hope goes by the theme : " Peace, an ingredient for Nation building". Bamenda Protesters of  Mother Francisca Bilingual Nursery and Primary School Kumba Massacre raises worries about the Heavy Militarization of Bamenda  and the effects  operation clean Bamenda on Denizens, Today 27th October 2020,  women in Bamenda took to the streets plackards and peace plants to protest in solidarity with the 24th October 2020 Massacre of School Children In Mother Francisca Bilingual Nursery and Primary School Kumba. Protesters raised a number of issues:  - "end to the killings in the North West and South West Regions",  - "Immediate ceasefire by both the Cameroon Military and the Amba Fighters" -  "end the killing  and so on". Sonyuy President and CEO Of RADA emphatically talk on the need for the civil society as well as Government to step means to fight the risk factors of these NCDs which have no particular cause but a regulation of risk factors of NCDs could help reduce the NCDs cases.
