Bamenda City Cleanup Campaign Effectively respected throughout The Bamenda I, II and III Council Areas

The city of Bamenda chief town of the NWR has today August 13 2020 witness a massive and effective participation in the cleanup campaign throughout the Municipality, first ever since the coming of Achobong Paul as the Pioneer Mayor to the Bamenda City Council.  City mayor Achobong Paul and his team involving the mayor of Bamenda I council and the D O of Bamenda II Subdivision parades the major Commercial areas in the city of Bamenda ensuring that the cleanup campaign is respected by Business owners around the visited areas.

Despite the effectiveness of todays activity in the entire municipality, Some major areas along the Commercial Avenue street were overcrowded with business kiosks and sheds which prompted the city mayor and his team to take sanctions against some of these business owners operating their business right into the road which at times cause unnecessary traffic and most of which were dismantled and some confiscated by the city council.

During this exercise the City mayor and his team distributed thousands of face masks to business owners to share to costumers who visit their business sites not in possession of face mask and called on them ensure the government rules in the fight against Covid 19 are respected as well as ensure their environment is properly kept clean.
