 Bikes riders strick in Bamenda that started on the 15th to 16th April 2020 is finally came to an end. From the Meeting with the Bamenda City Mayor Mr Achombong Paul on the 16th of April , The City mayor told them " it's important to know that I your city mayor I'm one of you and I won't sleep if don't sleep there's no house without problems but what matters is any house a problem need only dialogue to solve it's problem. I want to thank you because you heard my call and heed to it. He futher assured them that the list of every bike that was seize is with him and they need not to fear. He told them all collect bikes will be refunded to them but they needed to possess a categris 4000frs , driving license and insurance 16000frsper year. He promised to pay driving license for all that their bikes were seizd.
For proper identification of Bike riders the city mayor called on them to form unions at the level of each joint, Subdivision and at municipal level to elect credible execatives that can talk on their behalf incase such incident in the future.
He therefore is calling on all bike riders in Bamenda to participate in the upcoming elections to elect their respectives at the the sub Divisional and Municipal level.
At the moment he says about 2000 Bike riders will benefit from free Driving license in Bamenda City.

A briefing attended by media practitioners in the region also so the participants of some Government representatives as well as the civil society organisations. Mr Ferdinant M.
