18 Year Old Emmanuela Lost Her 2 Year old Daughter in Fire Accident

  

At Mobile Nkwen Neighborhood a locality hosting most young girls engage in a black business "prostitution" a major source of income for livelihood, an 18 year  old girl whose name we got as Immanuella lost her  two year old daughter in a fire accident. The fire consumed two rooms with  a child and everything in it, hers and one other room affected. She said. " At about 10pm on Friday, there was no electricity so I lighted a candle to light up the room where I was leaving, My.  daughter started crying of hunger so I left her on the bed and went down to mobile to fry some eggs for her. Upon my returned, I  heard my neighbors shouting fire, fire . coming close I discovered it was  my room with my daughter inside that was burning. We did everything to quench the fire but to no avail. My daughter got burnt by the fire that led to her death". The fire ravished everything two rooms had. The cause of.  this fire being the lighted candle. Many throw blames on the bereaved young mother  saying " she might had left the child to attend to one of her clients" The corps have been taken for burial.  Upon inquiry to know if the Fire Fighting Brigade or Army Rescue were contacted we learned there were not contacted. Had it been a rescue team were there , the life of this innocent child would have been saved. One would say lots and lots of things but had it been there were employment opportunities or even schools were effective in the two Anglophone Regions of Cameroon, this young girl like many others in this Black business ought to be in schools even if this is Holiday period and they had no holiday classes, they would have been doing something better with their lives.
