The North-West Economic Forum kicked off on July 12, 2025, in Bamenda, bringing together over 1,000 stakeholders to chart a new course for the region's economic revival. The two-day forum, themed "From Resilience to Renaissance: Strategies for the Economic Transformation of the North-West Region," aims to co-develop a roadmap for economic transformation, address pressing challenges, and secure actionable commitments.
HE Adolf Lele LAfrique, Representative of the Head of State, said, "We need to bring together all stakeholders to think, mobilize themselves, and rebuild back the region that has suffered a lot... We need more security, and I always tell people, 'You see something, you say something'."

Several organizations partnering with NOWEDIF shared their insights on how they're contributing to the region's economic transformation. Roger Nengne Ntafam, CEO Paysika, noted that Paysika is empowering youth to access the digital market, allowing them to pay for training online and showcase their skills.
