During a Sunday Service in Overcomers Chapel Bamenda, the Pastor Achobong Paul who doubles as the City Mayor Of the Bamenda City Council annouces that His usual Monday sale of food items at a subsidise rate. He future reiterate that though the items may not satisfy everyone he assures the Bamenda population while calling on them to brave all odds despite and partake in the subsidiary sale at theBamenda main market to continue this monday 04th May 2020.

Bamenda Celebrates World Environment Day 2025: "Beating Plastic Pollution"

The event, themed "Beating Plastic Pollution," same years theme brought together civil society leaders, government officials, and youths to raise awareness and find solutions to the pressing issue of plastic pollution in Bamenda and the North West Region at large. The Chief of Service at the North West Regional Delegation of Environmental Protection, Dr. Agbor Ebai Maurice, highlighted the severity of plastic pollution in Bamenda.
