BAMENDA CITY COUNCIL MAYOR'S MESSAGE TO MARK BARETA, DR. AKWANGA , ALHAJI DAN POLO AND ALL BAMENDA SONS AND DAUGHTERS.

On Monday 04th April 2020, the Mayor of Bamenda City Council Mr. Achobong Paul called on The Mark Bareta of Bareta News, Dr. Akwanga of the Ambazonian Arm group SOCADEF, Alhaji Dan Polo owner a big Businessman in the region and all sons and daughters of Bamenda both home and abroad to support him in Provision of Food and Non Food items he sells to the inhabitants of Bamenda City every Monday at Subsidise rates.
This was during his usual Monday sale of food and non food items at subsidise rate to the Bamenda population on the 04th of April 2020 at the Bamenda main market. This Monday sale which recorded a more that double population of Bamenda I, II and III as compared to others left many without these items they came to buy. The city mayor stresses on this encouraging the population  that this gesture will continue and he will ensureceive everyone benefits equally. Amongst these items were 6 Savons sold at 1000frs about half the normal market price, 25kg of rice sold at 5000frs, A litre of groundnut oil at 500frs and a kg of meat at 1000frs all these at half or less than half the normal price.

A briefing attended by media practitioners in the region also so the participants of some Government representatives as well as the civil society organisations. Mr Ferdinant M. Sonyuy President and CEO Of RADA emphatically talk on the need for the civil society as well as Government to step means to fight the risk factors of these NCDs which have no particular cause but a regulation of risk factors of NCDs could help reduce the NCDs cases.
