Military to Arrest Hawking Street Children In The City Of Bamenda






The City Mayor to the Bamenda City Council Rev Achombong Paul has called on parents around the city of Bamenda to stop the act of sending children on the street to hawk which is considered as child Abuse a crime punish by both national and international law. He saidid " The military will in the days ahead patrol the major streets the City of Bamenda to arrest any child caught selling by the streets" This he called on his Christians to man sure they take good of their children at the time when Corona virus has cause schools to shutdown couple with the anglophone crisis. He re-interate that covid 19 is real and kills. While calling on citizen's of Bamenda to respect the preventive measures outline by the Government to curb the spread of covid 19. He says " if it means washing your Hands twenty times a day you do". The days ahead are unknown given that Corona Cases keep rising everyday.
